Madison is 8 years old and weighs in at a delightful 72 pounds! She is just as sweet as her little sister Mollie who has been adopted, but for sure was the boss of the two. She would "tell" Mollie if she came too close to something she felt was valuable. Madison did have possible trauma to her rear legs years ago and had a left ACL surgery, as that knee was worse. She had no hip issues. Madison will run like a deer, but will need to be on a supplement such as Glucosamine and Rimadyl. Her love for the water will only ease any arthritis she has. Any of us who have large breed dogs understand arthritis is a fact of life sooner or later. Madison's favorite past times are "froggin" in the pond, and swimming. Both Madison and her adopted sister Molly were never in a house, but were always in a heated building. Madison requires a home with a physical fence and no children under the age of 10. Unfortunately Madison was recently diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. We are currently getting vet opinions and treatment options.
